Howdy. Can you guys give suggestions for anti-predator construction based on what's worked for you? Our new property (1 1/2 acres) has a creek running down the back slope so it's pretty much a Raccoon Highway. The creek drops off in a Wilderness Preserve/watershed so we get gorgeous wildlife but raccoon tracks EVERYWHERE. I'm sure there's more to worry about than raccoons, too, right?
I've heard of concrete footings, rebar pounded in every 10 inches, and other things... but what has worked for the locals?
