Shade Cloth at Harbor Freight

I needed to add some shade to my chicks' run, and looked for shade cloth, but everything I found was in narrow rolls and rather expensive. Finally, I decided to check Harbor Freight, and found what I needed. They have four sizes; I bought the 10' by 12' size, and put it over the run today. It's not quite as dark as I wanted, but it blocks about 50% of the light and will suffice. Harbor Freight sells them as "mesh tarps." They are nicely bound on all edges and have good grommets every two feet on all sides. If you are interested, have a look on-line, and before you go to buy, find a 20% off coupon; the coupons are in Sunday newspapers, farm magazines, and other places.

This is good to know. I wanted to put some over my run as well and all the hardware store had was the skinny stuff. I will check them out! Thanks for the tip.
