Shade for run

Looking for ideas on shade ti cover a part if my run.Going to be in the 90`s for the next few days.I want something that water will run through,it need only be temparary for a couple months.I have used tarps in the past but had to cut holes in them for the water to go through.they do have a umbrella.

Go dumpster diving behind a window shade installer. They toss old and wrong size covering (think sliding glass doors).
Heavy duty, can sew loops on it to anchor it, has small holes to allow air circulation, light colored to not absorb heat and best of all free.

You could get a mesh tarp. When your done using it for your run, you will have it for another use.

We use tarps , the rain will find its way threw and they are the most economical and useful .

You could get some wood pallets stand them up to form a triangle. Shade and protection.

Find a cheap table. I had a beat up old table I used for oyster roasts until I was gifted an oyster table. It now is part of the coop.

Because solid tarps can gather water and collapse due to the weight of the water.

I am with JDN and would put something in the run that makes shade. We have some mesh gravity chairs that i found all 10 of my chickens under the other day when it was hot. And that’s something you could get for free as well. Mine was going to go on the curb until i saw them using it so it will go in their run when i am finished.
