I must limit my mare stare watching this year! I was totally obsessed last year. But I did feel like it was something useful to do during those bouts of insomnia

I've been researching milk goats, so the goats are likely to pull me in. I can't have them where I live, but it's a dream. Might as well be prepared.

Anyway, I'm happy and excited for you. Your horses all look healthy and beautiful.

we are just getting our milking herd built back up. since i sold most my other when my friend who gave them to me passed away.

this summer we bought, a Nubian doeling, 2 mini lamancha doelings, and 2 standard lamancha doelings and a nigi doeling. all of which (cept 1 mini lamancha doeling) wont be bred till next year.

so spring 2013 we plan on milking again (yay) and raising meat goats (will breed the milk does to a boer Buck)

this year for goats, starting middle of march we have

Tinker- bred to our nigi buck, Jelo- she had a nice doeling last spring
Pie- also bred to jelo- last year she also had a single doeling
Cookie- bred to jel0- last year had twin bucks

and then the maiden does all bred to Popcorn( cookies buck from last year)
Suki- mini lamancha doe
Reese-(tinks baby from last year)
and
Icy - nigi doe that we bought

with 6 does hopefully preggers and 7 mares ( lol jsut found out the mare i co-own is also preggers and its my turn to foal her out LOL)
i think ill be busy LOL

ok ok tomorrow morning ill get pics of 2010's foals AND this years foals and then ill post pics... ill do so with the goats also!

Oh no, I spent hours watching mare stare last year. Every single animal foaled or kidded when I had to go somewhere.

If you need somebody to kid/foal at any particular time, you can PM me, and I will send you my appointment schedule. I'm sure that's when all your babies will come.

I love the looks of your studs, and I will be watching again this year.

this year i hope since i have more help ill be ablle to update faster AND call or text people when they are in labor lol i know lots of people missed them last year! Lol​
