Elkheart looked at the setting sun and headed for the warrior's den. He found Ravenwhisper there, curled up in her nest. He lay down next to her and whispered, "Hi". He gave her neck a tender lick and then rested his massive head between his paws.

Ravenwhisper lifted her head, she’d been unexplainably moody lately to everyone except Elkheart; and if it’s bothered to mention she’s moody, than it’s even more so than usual. “Hi,” she mewed.

Elkheart smiled and began licking her soothingly again. "You know," he said between licks, "You might want to see the medicine cat. Come on, lets go now before the medicine cat goes to sleep. I'll go with you." He got to his paws.
