Cloudfall nodded and followed after her, feeling happy that she wasn't leading the patrol. It felt good for someone else to have responsibility, for once.

Suddenly, a rabbit shot right in front of Cloudfall. She pelted after it, soon catching and killing it with a clean bite to the neck.

She carried it back to the patrol, suddenly not feeling very tired anymore.

Elkheart trotted swiftly through the forest, bringing up the rear of the hunting patrol. He was glad when Cloudfall caught the rabbit. He was built for endurance, not speed, so rabbit-hunting was not his strong point.
