"Sparrowstar hasn't spoken to me about it yet," Cloudfall replied. "But I promise to let you know when I find out. Would you like to go?" she asked, blinking her pretty green eyes. Did he mention it? she thought worriedly. And I just forgot it? Great StarClan, I didn't think being deputy was so hard!

The large tom got up and stretched his front legs, then let his broad shoulders relax, enjoying the afternoon sun. "Nothing." He mewed.

Cloudfall nodded. "I'll make sure Sparrowstar knows," she promised, going back to her meal with Jadestone.

Blackpine didn't respond, but his tail tip began flicking from side to side, like it did when he was agitated.
