Ravenwhisper padded past Elkheart in the camp clearing. She was one of the few cats in the clan, maybe the only one, who thought he honestly didn't deserve that much respect. And she didn't bother hiding it. He might be all big and impressive looking, but he set her on edge. As she passed the bighead, she rolled her eyes slightly, not caring if he noticed.

Elkheart got to his massive paws and walked towards the group that had formed behind the leader to go to the gathering. He looked at Cloudfall. He respected the she-cat, but in his heart, he had been hoping that himself would be chosen as deputy. He gave his thick pelt a mighty shake. He couldn't afford to be jealous, he had a clan to serve. He silently scolded himself for allowing himself to dwell on not being chosen as deputy. He sighed when Ravenwhisper passed. He was big, but he wasn't dumb. He could tell when a cat didn't want him around. He decided he didn't care, though, and he kept walking.

Cloudfall dipped her head. I sure hope he didn't mention it earlier and then I forgot. How embarrassing! She then noticed Ravenwhisper rolling her eyes at Elkheart and she had to stifle a mrrow of laughter. She felt respect, though, that Elkheart noticed but seemed to ignore it.
 
Ravenwhisper followed her clanmates example and sat in front of her leader, but Elkheart was so big, she had to keep standing up on her hind legs to see. I probably look like a mousebrain. She thought with amusement.

Ravenwhisper sported a smug look, her stunning light brown eyes glinting with amusement. She had been in a grumpy mood, but decided to forgive him for being so noble today because of his consideration.
