Take a good straight stick and carve off the bark in parts to create a neat design! You'll have a neat walking stick to take on hikes!
I made one last summer, it was super fun and SUPER easy as you are just carving off the bark, not carving into the wood. I'll see if I can dig it up and take a pic of it.
Always remember to cut away from yourself though!
