Shampoo?

What shampoo should I use to give a 5 week old serama chick a bath? Thanks

I use baby shampoo when it is spa day for my flock.

I had no idea you could bath your chickens! That's good to know cuz I have a white one that could use a bath how old do they need to be before bathing them? Mine are a little over a month.

If you plan on giving them a bath make sure it is warm and before you let them back outside blow dry them on a low heat setting if not they will catch a chill,I started bathing mine when they were about 6-8 weeks old,my sultan would poo on her wings all the time when she was younger,now she has grown into her wings so it isn't an issue now.

I gave him a bath which he was not fond of and a blow dry which he seemed to like. He is an inside chick. He just left his mama yesterday and was a muddy mess. Now he is so clean he sparkles. Lol. I did use Johnson's baby shampoo.

That is what I use on mine some gripe about it at first but after a couple times they seem to enjoy it. We call it spa day
