hello, I am soon to be a new chicken owner at least a owner on my own as an adult. I've always had chickens but they were always at my parents house...now I'm starting my own flock with my son, we are thinking about getting silkies for show and when I know we're ready we will move into other breeds too.Any advise for me and my son that I should now about.Thank you!!

I really can not think of a better chicken for kids then Silkies

Make sure you get them from a breeder
