IN THE spring so I will be there at Ducks this winter!!! let me get through my first chicken hatch and move on! lol I realllly want call ducks and a huge aviary!!
Calls are lovely! Though the noise can be quite the alarm clock

Are they terrible noisy? just at certain times or allll the time? which are the quietest duck breed? : )
Honestly they are very loud. If you went with Drakes you would be fine. The quietest duck breed is the Muscovies. Mine NEVER made a noise the entire time I had them besides the occasional squeak

I am gonna follow you and hope I can find you to look up when the time comes for info!!! Do u incubate your own eggs? if so come over and help in my thread when you get free time, its my first and almost all my eggs have been scrambled at the USPS!!! But I CAN DO THIS!! I think

Sorry I do not incubate my own eggs. However, if you come down to the duck section and ask any incubating question on "Thread formerly Known as Hatch Day" the ladies can answer any of your questions. IMO they are some of the best hatch experts on the forum. They hatch out several times a year.

I incubate eggs all the time, especially ducks. You can find me at "the thread formerly known as hatch day is today" or "girls vs girls" or any number of other threadsy. You may PM me (Personal Mail - new messages up top) Marty1876, and I'll help you if you need it.

The best way to get help is POST "HELP - Incubating question" or I'd visit Hatch Day is Today. Lots of us hatching geeks hang out there, but it is a bit off the off season just now, but one of us will lend you our knowledge, not to worry.
