He looks like a mix breed. Where did you get him? Does he crow yet?

We got him from a farm, said he was a silkie mix unsure of one of the parents though, and yes he does crow although since he just started he sounds like a dying duck, but we smile everytime we here it

It looks like he has some Barred Rock in him. He doesn't look like a silkie mix though. Maybe a cochin?

Their are other breeds with five toes, not just silkes. Is he soft feathered?

He's adorable! I don't have any idea what the mix is, but it looks like there was a crested breed in his background. My silkie crosses have had that slightly raised poof of longer feathers on the head.
