Wow!! what a pretty roo. Is he docile or aggressive? just wondering. He is really big.
Roy,
He is nice to everything, not a mean bone in his body, like I said before he is a good boy.

This is Max...ruler of the flock.

Leroy...although the same age and a bit bigger than Max, he was dethrone by Max a few months ago...

Baxter....Yes, he is missing a "tooth" in his comb. The result of a failed attempt to overthrow Max as top dog. He healed up fine and is still a very handsome fella! And he loves to sit in my lap.

Marc Antony......another "pullet" gone roo!

Initially, I thought this one was a roo, too, because the comb and wattles came in much earlier than the other ones who are the same age. But the comb is thin, not thick like Marc Antony's (who is also the same age.) Now I'm not so sure...what do you guys think?

I love all the beautiful roosters...thanks for posting all your pictures!

Oh I love all the Roos!!! Especially the Frizzles!!

This is Sir Stellar, an Easter Egger Roo. My mom and I got him and his flock of ladies 3 years ago now. He is 5 years in this picture. Super friendly and gentle once you catch him... but he is quick to run away when you go for him (unless you have bread or watermelon... he will come straight to you for those!) He does so well at getting all of the ladies inside when the sun is going down. He was also really friendly to 8 chicks that we introduced to him and his ladies. 6 of them were meat birds and the only time he has been aggressive was when my dad went in to get the birds to butcher, Stellar would have done anything to protect them. I will be very sad when he passes on... we will be holding onto him until that day.

And this is my (and the Hubby's) Japanese Black Bantam Roo. He is 14 weeks. Its funny how much bigger the ladies are than him, but he has made his way to the top of the pecking order and the girls have some respect for him :)

We will normally find him in between at least 2 or 3 of the girls in the morning when we open up the coop. He is still learning to crow... its really cute!

I have 5 boys! :) I only have pictures of 4 of them though because Cottonball is terrified of the camera and flees

Hutch!

Here is my pullet, gone Roo!!! Columbian Cochin, Buck

Sharing food with his big woman

Although HE was never supposed to be, I do love him and could never imagine not having him!!! He has been a very sweet Roo and loves his ladies!!!!

Here's my big guy in charge, a Light Brahma known affectionately as 'Ol' Rooster". He's just 13 weeks, but towers over all my other birds and already seems to look out for some of the ladies.

And here's the little guy, the ladies' man for the bantams in the flock, a silver laced Polish named Buzzard Chick.
