This is Diva. She was a wonderful little horse. As part of a Therapeutic riding program, she worked with special needs people of all ages as well as people with emotional issues. I was her sponsor and was allowed to ride and spend time with her when she was not working with the program. About 2 -3 years ago she came down with Laminitis. We kept thinking she was getting better and then would get worse again. For a girl who always wanted to go, it was hard to see her barely able to walk. She fought hard against the disease, but 3 days ago the vet finally recommended putting her down. We will miss her terribly.
