so i been wanting to see peoples quails nests button and coturnix both (and others if u got them and want to show them) if you all don't mind please post pics of the places ur quails made nests and the nests they make ^^/ (kinda hoping to get my button to like a nest/bed that i can spoil them with)

I have various hides in my 3 button enclosures, but each pair has decided to make their nests underneath/behind an artificial trailing plant (one also laid a couple in a big flowerpot on its side). I give them all a big handful of hay each time I clean them out too, which they like to construct with.

This one is by my hen that went broody for a couple of days 🥰 (clearly 3 eggs didn't make the cut):

I know you are looking for Button and Coturnix nests, however if you have the room with your Coturnix quail, over turned buckets with a mouse hole makes a private nesting place for larger quail. My Bobwhites used these quite a bit. For smaller birds you could use over turned clay pots or lay them on their sides.

Lately i can't help but stare at bob white quails heads XD there just so differently shaped and pretty cute

So grass hey do i just pop in a home depot ?
Most feed stores that carry a lot of horse supplies carry grass hay, but you have to purchase an entire bale. :D Pet stores sell Timothy hay in small bags for rabbits and other small animals. It's very soft and nice for nest making.
