Great pics! :thumbsup
Fabulous pics, but the deer would scare me being that close! I've never been the same since I got chased by one :hide
I live on a snow emergency route. We have over 2 feet in western MD.

Hi Newfie :frow Hope your keeping warm, that sure is a lot :ep
Up on top of the Big Horn Mountains, heading down the Sheridan side, after the first snow of the season up there. Bumbley Falls freezing for the winter. This waterfall doesn't have an official name that we can find, but it's along Hwy14A in the Big Horns. When she was 3 years old Little Diane decided it should be named after her. She's now a married 22 year old woman, but we all still call it Bumbley Falls.
Lovely pics Blooie :thumbsup The waterfall is spectacular!!

Ha, does this answer your question? That's not frost, that's sea foam! (Um, you buying that, @Old Philosopher ?)

Beautiful! Considering the winds you get down there, I can almost believe it. Hahahaha
Our average annual wind speed, over a 62 year recording period, is 4 (FOUR!) mph. Off-the-grid folks here can't use wind power...there isn't any.

I've got to dig out one of my frost pix I think you'd like.

Those are so cool! Living in the area that you and Michael do, I'm sure you've had the experience of driving through the snow clouds full of floating ice crystals up on the mountains. That's what your second shot reminded me of....
