I got my little buff Brahma chick from a hatchery marked as female so I’m pretty sure she is a pullet but I’m starting to get worried she might not be… she’s much bigger then her sister Alice already and has much more… energy and jumpiness so I always thought it could be possible but now her comb is getting to me, Alice has none yet whereas Cheshire very clearly does, she’s only a few weeks old(I can get exact age in a bit)

She is the darker out of the two buff Brahmas. In the picture with them standing she’s the one more behind Biscotti my cockerel.

That stance does make one think cockerel. However, I had one JG chick that was larger than the others and had sparse feathering that made me think cockerel but she did turn out to be a girl. She grew into a massive hen who had a tendency to lay double yolkers.

Oh wow, JG is Jersey giant right? I really want to get some. If he is a he then my search for a second young rooster will thankfully be over, if not I can easily get one once swap and meet starts!
