She’s not getting better with antibiotics

Yellowish waxy stuff in case of infection, or maybe some critters like a tic

Is your coop large enough to leave the crate in with her flock for company? You can inspect her ears with a QTip. If there is gunk in the ear, you can put a few drops of hydrogen peroxide into the ear, and clean it out. Plain Neosporin or triple antibiotic can be put into the Esau canal to treat an ear infection. It can go along with a respiratory disease, or she may have been pecked.
Yes my coop is large enough I just brought her inside to keep an eye on her and feed her, when I let her out to walk she loves to sit in front of a huge mirror. And it’s been so cold too

When I took her to the vet he thoroughly checked her do you think he might’ve missed an ear infection?

If one ear seems swollen and the other is not, that points to either an ear infection or trauma to the ear from pecking. The vet may have not noticed. You are the best judge if it is a problem or not since you are there.
I tried looking in the ear but it’s really hard to do her lump is big where her ear is and feels hot to the touch, I’m so heartbroken thinking that I might lose her she tries to eat and drink and it seems as if she can’t so I force feed her to make sure she’s eating. Thank you so much for all the information I really appreciate it.

I was finally able to look inside her ear I put the qtip slightly inside ear but nothing came out I did manage to look really good inside her ear canal and it looks as if it’s something black hard inside but it wouldn’t budge she was very uncomfortable so I didn’t want to continue to poke around in there.

Maybe call your vet and tell them that they seem to have missed the stuff in her ear which apparently is causing the problems. Then bring the hen in again so they will be able to remove whatever the dark stuff is that you saw in her ear.

They have better instruments to reach inside an ear and maybe the stuff can even get rinsed out.

Yes I am going to try and take her in today I didn’t give her last nights dose of antibiotics because I feel it’s not helping I hope he can give me something like the meds you guys suggested and maybe take that lump out from under her ear, thank you so much for responding

I’m currently giving her Duvet healthy flock vitamins in her water should I give her anything else or switch to something better?

Since those have electrolytes which can cause diarrhea after a few days, I would use them for 5 days or less. Let us know what the vet has to say. Could her ear have been pecked on the outside which may have caused blood and swelling?
