She cant walk and is very skinny

I just found my hen laying next to the chicken house. She was laying on hen side very weak and can't walk and she's lost alot of weight. She comb isn't bright red. I haven't found alot of bugs on her but a few. She's pooping herself. But she hasn't been eating and drinking still. What's wrong with her? What do I do?

Hi. How old is she? If you've found even a few bugs on her, I would treat her for lice and/or mites. Permethrin is a good thing to treat for pests. When is the last time she was wormed? If she's not able to move much, that could be why she has feces on her. She should be isolated and kept comfortable so that you can monitor her. If she has lice or mites, most likely the rest of the flock does as well so make sure to treat the others and clean up your coop as much as possible and treat it as well.

I moved her to the garage last night but I went to check on her this morning and she did not make it. I'm going to use permethrin tonight on the rest to make sure that's not it. What's a good wormer to use. She was a year and a half old. The rest were just hatched this spring. Thanks for your help
