This is AWESOME! We have a broody Black Australorp sitting on 11 eggs as well - due to hatch on 9/11-ish. Good to see what a good momma they can be! We have 4 BA eggs, 4 White Auracana eggs and 3 White Leghorn eggs - roo is a mostly White leghorn mutt. I'm not candling so results remain a mystery!
