she excepted new chick

she hatched two and left the nest with one in, so i put it in the incubator. meanwhile one of the warrens pulled the little baby chick out under the brooder wire and killed it. poor little thing.
anyway the chick in the incubator hatched, so in the darkness last night i put the baby chick under her and this morning the were out eating.
the other chickens keep coming into the coop and stare at the babies, i know they would kill them if they had a chance, i have double wired the brooder so none of the hens can get near them. i am so worried about letting them all run free together, what age can i let them out.
