She is gone ..my dog died today

My sincere condolences. I know all too well what it is to lose a really good dog. It's been 3 years for me, and I still struggle.

I'm so terribly sorry to hear about your dog. There's nothing like the unconditional love we receive from our dogs. Yes. Man's best friend. Sounds like she went peacefully in her own home and I'm sure she thanks you for that. I'd have done the same thing.

Put down my best friend (Golden) of 11 years this summer. Found a vet to come to the farm to do it. And I know he was thankful for that. So hard. And to top it off I finally got a puppy a few months ago and someone hit him on the road a week or 2 ago right in front of my mailbox going way too fast. I just don't know why everyone is in such a hurry.
