I understand your concern for your grandson and you're totally right. Many farm animals are dangerous and children should be protected and educated about them.

Probably the best way to do this. Your thoughts on adding another rooster from the babies? Would this help or harm the situation?
 
I haven't tried it, but I've read that some have been successful when there are enough hens for each to have about 7 and enough room in the coop for everyone to get along. You'll have to keep a close eye on them and be ready to step in before someone gets badly hurt. I don't know if it'll change the personality of your current Rooster.
