She layed TWO eggs today????????!!!!

Is this possible??

Heres the thing..


We have two bantam chickens and 12 regular chickens.


One of the bantys, Taylor, Started laying a few months ago... A sort of pale pinkish white.

Now the other banty Meg is laying eggs that are brown.

Also a RIR and another chicken (We dunno which) are laying white and brown BIG eggs.


So today i was looking outside and i saw Taylor sitting in a nesting box. And i saw an RIR in the one next to her.

I didnt want to bother them so i went inside for about 30 minutes then came back out to check


I found one RIR egg and.... TWO Taylor eggs! Im sure there both hers cause hers are sooo tiny!


What do you think?

Maybe you can train her like that hen on Green Acres. The wife would just ask for 3-5 eggs, the hen would sit in a metal pan and voila!!!

Some hens can lay 2 eggs in 1 day. My red cochin frizzle hen did once.
