I'm so sorry. It sure sounds like you love your babies!
I don't know anything about peafowl, but I know that sometimes even my hens who are on oystershell need an extra hit of calcium when they are in high production. A shot of that restores elasticity to the oviduct.
On an unrelated note, that's a mighty cute dog you are holding in that picture!

Well there is your answer I suspect (I had not realized that the egg had broke inside her) ... sepsis from that > it is a risk whenever an egg breaks (even if you do think you have got it "all")
As for the calcium gluconate > this will help "contractions" )move the egg along) ...
As for the soft shell > this is probably why she was unable to expell it and there could be any numbe of reasons for the soft shell ... imbalance between the calcium/phosphorus/and something else (escapes me at the moment can cause this but even a sudden shock of some kind (loud noise or whatever) is enough to disturb their system.​
