She pecks me

I had a rooster go after my son and he ended up in my crockpot if she goes after them she will to but she hasn't yet

I just never set them up for failure so have never had the issue..Had a Polish Rooster that was horrid...He is gone..Had a Drake that was horrid...Gone also

One of my rir does this only because shes a pig an always thinks i have food in my hand. Lol id say if your not being attack than let it be an show equal attention to all an all that want it. An just pay attention if she tries to peck you

I sure am not mean ever to my Animals..I do expect respect from all of them. Aggressive animals are dangerous animals..My animals totally enjoy my company and respect my space.

It would be the same as allowing a puppy to nibble on you while they were teething. It reinforces bad behavior, and especially since the pup thinks your low enough to just be chewed on. ((ETA and a dog should never think that its ok to put teeth to a person, unless its been specifically trained for it.))
I never hurt my animals, but I do respond to them in a way that they would understand. A mom dog would yelp if her pup chewed her, and then nip it. I yelp and lightly pinch.
My chicken pecks me? I poke it back with my fingers.
