She really needs a name!

think she say henriEGGa hahha, cute. i dont name mine either, i have 6 grandkids and cant even keep their names strait .
Our birds were SUPPOSED to be simply for food, eggs and meat! My rule was no naming, even the laying hens because once they stop laying they are soup! I didn't take into account that these birds would have personalities and seem almost seem to love us too! So there will probably be a few girls (and boys) that get a free ride for life. For the most part though my original flock are just pretty egg layers. I also didn't take into account that we would get attached to the weaker links. We had an injury to one of our meat birds, a little austrolorp. He was nearly pecked to death by my father's flock. I took him in and nursed him back to health, and reintroduced him to my flock. He is doing very well, and growing but he is still one of the smallest of the flock and has forgotten he is a chicken. His name is Pip and he looks to be a permanent member!

Here is new pic of Henregga!
You can see why she became fluffy-butt! Girl has a badonkadonk!

And here is our Little Pip!
this one shows his injury healing wonderfully and he is getting feathers back!

And here Pip is wondering why I haven't brought him a special treat......"how dare you"

Fluffy butts are so cute! Sometimes it takes a while to name your pet you really have to get to know them first and their personalities. I have 8 chicks (two different breeds) and only 1 i havent named yet.

Then when you start naming them all you get confused at times haha!
