She red and losing feathers

I have 6 hens no rooster and the one hen hogs the nesting spot they prefer (1of 5) so I think the others are pecking at her to move or just standing on top of her to hatch not sure but she lost a lot of feathers and is all red.. what do I do?!

Hi Mike,

Does she crouch down and growl when you try to move her? She may be broody, this is when a hen settles down to hatch her eggs.
She'll use her feathers to line the nest.
You can search for a lot of info on byc about broody hens and how or whether to break them from this.
