I've got a RIR on day 27; nothing yet.
Don't know if incubation for whatever you have is different, but it's 21 days for RIR's

All varieties of chicken are 21 days ideally.
Ducks vary by breed.
Mine are pure silkie hen with silkie x roo or pure silkie roo with some that are from a silkie x hen across the same 2 roos

Either way is good. We are allowed 15 poultry here and I have 1 2 year old roo, 1 9 month old roo, 2 9 month old hens, 2 6 month old hens, 15 around 3 weeks old, 12 possible from under shadows and KC has another 7,
So I got to get rid of some. I'll sort the keepers in jan. got 4 from the 3 week olds I'm happy with.
The excess will head out to the farm or maybe to a bloke down the pub for hens and the cockerel's will be traded for soup

Mine was my first hatch and I think the temps were .5 to a degree lower than it should have been. So I probably killed off all the boys. I read something about low temps producing girls.

Yes, she just had a big comb. She was the first to lay, beat the next to lay by about 4 days

don't like zip ties but seems to be the best thing . I use a  soldering gun to melt the ends together so they don't move .

Me neither, but they do work well... and cheaper than leg bands... :/

Yup, and add B-12 too if you can... I prefer to use NutriDrench instead of savachick, but heard it works too...
