She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Not yet...I'm on day 6 today.
Well, now I have to PM you

My cuckoo marans were pretty big chicks, but nothing compared to the BCM. Sweet, sweet chicks, too.
With no water in the wells, I'm holding at 30% with the vent fully open, so I guess I'm going with that. I still won't weigh my eggs, so all I can do is :fl
The extra 4 weeks since the last time I collected for setting really allowed the pullets to gain some size in their eggs. The tray is much more full this time. I started the first row right up against the front wall of the tray, and by the time I got to the 4th row, I didn't even have to put another rail in to hold them. 4 eggs went from wall to wall, I just had some small gaps at the end of the rows that I had to fold a little paper towel in to. The only two things that concern me is a few of the eggs are 11 days old, and I didn't turn them twice a day while storing like I should have. I turned them at night, but always forgot in the mornings. Hopefully the results will be a little better this time

I am also running without water right now. My humidit ranges from 32% at night when the ac is cranked up and 40% during the day. I have my ac around 78f to save on electricity. Not going to turn for 5 days.

I'm guessing the D is for dumb, but can't figure out the N. I can usually figure that stuff out. How do you say things like D to the N, but not know what IKR means? Guess it's the gang speech :gig
You know what D to the N means. IKR I figured out pretty quickly, due to Dan and Sarah using t all the time

I think that would be why they recommend not turning for so many days think positive good thoughts I think 1200 miles is to far to ship eggs my self . unless you go with air overnight like you said.

My package from Jean had a rough trip, in spite of excellent wrapping, 2 were cracked and several had rolling air cells. I didn't turn them for 6 days and my humidity was higher than it should be, but on day 7 only 1 that I could see still had a rolling air cell. I can't see through the Marans eggs. BUT I was winging it - it is suggested to not turn shipped eggs for UP to 7 days. However it is also known that turning from day 4 through 7 is very important. As far as the humidity - I didn't increase it on purpose, I just did the same as I always did - a quarter cup of water in 1 channel. However I have moved, therefore I'm hatching in a different location. And it is a more humid - so I need to adjust to my new surroundings. I'm hoping for the best - next Saturday is hatch day.

Haha! Chickie calisthenics is a great idea! I grabbed a daddy-long-legs one day and stuck it on the fence for my turkey to eat... of course it crawled upward, but she got it anyway!

Ooooh, oooh, another in lockdown!!

What do you have coming?
I'm not sure. There are 6 left. Several brown and green eggs. Didn't get to do 18 day candle, so don't know how many are alive. Will listen for pips when I get the chance.
