I dont neccesarily enjoy hand turning but i do like how easy it is with the octog. I dont run it yet because i just dont want to burn it up and then Need it :-/

did you try greasing up. even though mine has been greased it still clicks and creaks. It has made those noises from brand new. I would use it and be on the look out for another back up one.

CRS is y i dont "enjoy" it! LOL i set alarms on my phone but thats no good if i forget after i turn the alarm off. Im workin on retraining myself, after my last set in the LG. I had it down w that one...

Have you tried lubing it?
The warranty is only good for 2 years, and only goes into effect if he ordered it online. If he sold it for $250, I kinda doubt he did. I'm not fussing, I'm just letting you know how the warranty works. If you think there's a chance he may order another, then by all means go for it

I did, even Though it was still oily from his last oil i think there is a chance he Might and so i did try thanks for the info!

Y'all, I'm having a terrible time keeping my humidity consistent, I always add too much water. My humidity is at 47 now, is that too high? Day 5 just started 2 hours ago.

K, I'll do that then. I'm just terrified to move the eggs cause everyone has said to move them as little as possible. But taking the lid off won't hurt. I feel like I'm working with live grenades, lol. I hope I make it through this hatch with my sanity still intact. What little sanity I have left anyway.

I'm still playing catch up so I haven't seen all replies, but if it was me...I'd remove all the water and stick a wet sponge in there. That's how I incubate the first 17 days if it's too dry to hold above 25% and it keeps my bator right around 30%. I never add water until lockdown. Just wet sponges.

I can see now that once I get done with this hatch I will want to set some more immediately, lol. And I know as soon as they start to hatch I'll want to put my little hands in there and help them out of their shells and love on them. I'll have to resist the urge

Don't be bored, it must be beer o'clock by now. 
I use anything that has carbon that isn't an arm and a leg. come fall i will be loading up with leaves. even bringing bagged leaves from the side of the road that someone else raked up. they are free and dry out quickly. I read somewhere that someone made a drainage moat around their run to help run off. It may have been right here.
