She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

My Legbars are from the early GFF lines and lay very nice blue eggs, too. Their combs are huge though and flop over, I think in part because they reached POL during a heat wave of 110 degrees that year.

Cream Legbars were perfect for me when I had a stealth coop in the suburbs and I wanted to be sure I was raising females!

Totally!

Just candled, and BTW whatr u doin up at this hour ?! Lol
Candled the eggs, they All Look Good! Im so relieved! Not a single crack, and all my life forms are movin around!

Yep, my Legbars are all a blend of the early lines too... had some Rees ones, did not like them at all so I culled them all out...
Only have 1 hen with very large floppy comb, different breeder and haven't hatched any of hers yet...
Tried to post pic of them but app keeps stopping at pic insertion... :/

LOL I know! I think the heatwave right at the comb growth spurt might have had something to do with it. Never saw the parent stock though.

If I ever get Legbars again, I want to see pictures of the parent's combs!
