it wasn't rotten when it went into lockdown I could see slight movement. but when I candled it tonight it was so dark except for the air sac I couldn't make anything out. there is no foul smell coming from the incubator.

Is he on day 32 too?? If so make him a safe hole. Once you do put
The hole to your ear and tap on the shell listen for noise. If no noise then candle him again threw the safe hole. And the safe hole should only be the size of a pen top. But at least you can get some light to go threw and see what else is going on. And again smell in the hole.

Ok just trying to figure out what the delay is.

my temperature wasn't right. I have a still air and did not realize when I started incubating them that I was to run it a degree or two higher and to rotate the eggs. I corrected my mistake with my second incubator that has 22 duck eggs in it.I am hoping for a better hatch rate with it. Trying to learn everything I can this go around so I don't have so many mistakes next time.

One to two degrees of temp isn't going to make them this late. I thought she said it was off only a couple of degrees maybe I read that wrong.

When you say rotate the eggs what exactly do you mean?? Did they sit in a turner? Or did you just lay them down and not touch them at all??

make the pinhole even though there isn't an internal pip? When I candled it there was no internal pip. I will do it first thing in the morning. I hate to open incubator again right now with the other one with safe hole.

no I hand turned them three times a day. I just didn't move them from the hot side to cooler side and vice versa.

no the humidity up to lockdown Ran between 35 to 45. it's hard to get it any lower than that because I live in Louisiana and we are very humid here.
