She's beautiful, your a kind heart for taking her in! We need a few more like you in the world...
I like the names mentioned before: Jade, Hannah, Lilly... she seems so feminine..
When I looked at her I thought 'Honey' because she seemed like a sweet cat.
But the decision is up to you, and I'm sure you'll pick the perfect name
Arghhhh!!!! Guess what???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The vet said she was spayed so a couple of days ago I began to let her outside just during the daytime since she knows the area well. She stayed right near me and the house through the weekend, was easy to pick up and hug anytime and she dutifully came in for night time. She was so much happier enjoying a bit of freedom.
All good, except that tonight I found out she's NOT spayed.
She's in heat, outside attracting every male within an umpteen mile radius. She won't come to me. She hasn't eaten a thing today and now I'm a wreck. I have to get her spayed as soon as a good vet can fit her in (good luck Christmas week, right?). I just hope she'll come back and that I can catch her (right now in her altered state she is not focusing on how cold it is out there
and I hope she doesn't stray too far - saw her following a male up the street, one I've never seen before).
Wait till I call that vet tomorrow morning (it wasn't my regular vet).
Oh I would be so mad at that vet!! I wonder why he thought that? I thought it was very hard to tell for sure unless they did an ultrasound? Was following this thread with interest since we have our own little nameless, black, long haired raga-muffin who, at only about 10 weeks old, was dumped here one cold, rainy night. Gotta love the human species.
Good luck, hope you find her, she looks so content in those pic's.
