she wont use the nest boxes?!? update post 1

she makes a nice little nest in the straw and lays there
everytime. will she make the switch on her own or do i
need to do something?

today both my layers used the nest boxes!!

Lots of info on here about this. You can try putting golf balls in the nest. You can try setting her in there when she gets on her other nest. You could just put the nest box where she prefers, if possible; chickens naturally nest on the ground.

I had the same problem. I put a few golf balls in the nests and it worked.
