So I had browsed and browsed to find some good examples of shed addition chicken coops, but found very few. So, I spent hours looking at coops here and tutorials on building, and voila! It is still a work in progress, and I have additional touching up to do. Hopefully this can help someone else looking for ideas. I'll post the final pictures when it is all done.

Looks great. Nice big window in there for light. Are you adding a run or will they free range?

Thanks! I'm hoping ventilation will be ok. What do you think? The walls don't go all the way up to the roof, so there is about a four inch space all the way around the coop with wire.

The plan is to put in fence posts from the corner of the coop to the white fence on the side. That gives about a 300 sq ft of run for them. Then I'd like to plant a tree and some bushes on the outside of the fence to give them some shade. the coop faces west, and we get a lot of warm evening sun.
