Shed to coop conversion!

Well looks like it may take longer than we thought, after replacing the roof plywood and replacing the side panels we ran into a dilemma.
The joists holding the front and back panels up just hang on the panels them selves no frame work... weird so we will have to find a say to frame it in we can’t find the same joist hangers. Then the floor is a little sketchy we are going to have to replace the floor I’m scared to see what’s underneath there lol 😂 my hubby was saying we may have to lift the thing to replace the floor I don’t know, I’m beginning to think we should have just bought another shed.... I have someone coming this weekend to give us ideas on how we can replace the floor and front and back panels...wish us luck any suggestions welcome
That is def weird...

These things ALWAYS have a way of taking longer than hoped, don't they? And usually costing more and requiring a billion trips to hardware stores.

I'm no carpenter, and I wouldn't know where to begin. For my first coop, I slapped it together using whatever I could find, and I'll be darned but the thing was sturdy. You and your hubby will figure it out and it'll be a great adventure - even if you end up scrapping it and just buying a new shed!

Well, we ended up hiring a handyman to help frame out or coop and put in a new floor .... hey we know when we are over our head. :D We ended up ordering a out swing door so that won’t be here for the next week or so. We ordered shed windows for the front and back wall that will help with ventilation we plan on covering that with hard wire cloth. My husband and I will be busy the next weeken or 2 putting up panels, painting and installing the windows and vinyl flooring. Chicks will be here at the end of the month!:wee 746DACE6-2865-4838-826B-9337B4207413.jpeg 9A574749-2AA7-44EA-B0B5-6225BFB56DA1.jpeg 91D1AAA4-6B22-46F1-A737-D20FF854748E.jpeg 63B3E468-6EFF-4630-AB1C-655682B381D9.jpeg 6DF8DF32-2E05-481D-B87C-D3560B7DFD64.jpeg

Wow!!! Looks fantastic!

How'd you do ventilation? I'll be starting to convert a shed next week, and I haven't quite decided on how I should do ventilation on it.

thank you,We added windows to the front in the back of the building. I’m also going to be adding a ventilation fan I just haven’t decided where I’m going to put it yet. unfortunately, my framing goes in the middle of the roof so I was unable to add ventilation at the roof. here’s what I’m thinking about using.
AC Infinity AIRTITAN T7, Ventilation Fan 12" with Temperature Humidity Controller, for Crawl Space, Basement, Garage, Attic, Hydroponics, Grow Tents https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JN8411P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_C7gcFbXG17Y1S

Is it dust proof?
They can be a fire hazard, best to blow fresh air in to much reduce the chicken dust on/in fan.
