I am looking to build myself a coop similar looking to a shed. Which is the normal height (without too much cutting) for a shed type coop. Like how tall in feet for the sides and the tallest point?

thanks

I used 8' sheets on the frnt wall. I had to add 3" for double top plates 1 1/2 for bottom plate 3/4 floor thickness and 1 1/2 for rain shedding, which gave me a stud height of 89 1/4" stud length. back wall is 6' same deductions. My run was 10' so it gave me 2/12 pitch, 9 degree top cut I made on the top of my studs. After setting the gable rafters I balloon framed the side walls. There is cutting envolved no matter how simple the design.

Here's a nice free shed-type coop plan from the Purina website.

If you go to the Purina website and click on these pictures it will download a more detailed plan in PDF format.
