We went to the barn tonight and the goats and sheep got all excited. As we were leaving we saw something on the ground and noticed that it was a horn. She must have banged her head on the barn when we arrived and it got knocked off. She is about 4 months old and the horn is newly forming - it's about 3" long. There is blood where the horn used to be and some on her face but she didn't seem to mind at all. The blood clotted immediately. I guess I was wondering if this is normal? I'm also afraid of infection. What should I do to care for her?
