I've got to hand turn eggs at the moment so they are on their side in the bottom of the incubator. My problem is that they are resting right on the metal hardware cloth looking stuff. Could I place some of that non-slip shelf liner stuff on top of the hardware cloth for the eggs to rest on? Seems like a common sense question but I just wanted to double check

Thanks!

I used the carton method, but I did line the hatching trays with the non-slip shelf liners and it worked well for me. Makes clean up easier.

Carton method? Is that where you lay the egg on its side in the carton? Thanks, Alan.

Large end up actually.

There's been a lot of discussion about it here on the board so it'll be easy to find in a search.
