Shell less eggs

We add calcium by keeping the egg shells from used eggs, and when we have a tray full, we put them in the oven for 10 minutes at around 200°c. We tend to put them in when preheating the oven for something, and once you take them out, let them cool, and then put them all in a bag and crush them up. Sprinkle the egg shell around where they forrage and they peck it up and eat it. It adds (recycled) calcium to their diet for free.

This is the tray we have at the moment, and it will be going in the oven when we cook dinner later. Cool it for 10/15 minutes, crush them up, and sprinkle them anywhere you like. You could also add it straight to their feed if you wanted
