Shelless egg maybe? *HELP PLEASE*

So I just went out to lock up the chickens for the night and saw a hen on the roost and she pooped out what looked like a nasty poop and then with further investagashun it looked like an egg but without the shell or membrane??? What was it..Only one hen is laying right now and I do not believe it's her???

Exactly as you said - shelless egg. It's as common as soft shelled eggs or jello eggs. You could debate which is more gross though...

lol If it's a newer layer, it should work itself out within a week or so (probably just a fluke). If it continues, make sure you offer free choice oyster shell or chopped up egg shell for calcium.

Yep, probably first egg and common. As teach1rusl said, make sure to provide oyster shell.
