I know I have seen pics of this before...I just am not sure if I should be concerned. For the past week all of her eggs have a little rippling on the top. If that makes sense. Yesterday evening there was a shelless egg with the crumpled up shell next to it. Is this just a fluke or should I be concerned?? Could she have an infection or something? Thanks!

How old is your hen? It is not all that uncommon, especially for very young layers, to lay shell less and/or soft shelled eggs on occasion. Do you feed her a good quality layer feed? Does she have oyster shell available 24/7?
