And by that, I mean 100% no shell. Or did they eat the shell and leave the egg (unlikely)?

I have seen what is called shell less eggs they are not that uncommon but always has a membrane, never seen one without either. I'm sure rare and not often found because they get eaten before found with no evidence just a thought .
