Any tips on how to find out who is laying the shelless eggs? She’s laying them in the ‘good’ nesting box with everyone else. Maybe one a week is shelless. Not broken and eaten.
Any tips? Thanks in advance!

Smart! Thank you! Things are about to get weird.....You can try lipstick on their vents.
IKR. I read about that once so I can't take credit but happy to pass it along.Smart! Thank you! Things are about to get weird.....
This happened to me recently. Perfectly formed, shell-less and also albumen-less, egg. Membrane was intact which is how I know it was albumen-less. A few days later, I found a broken shell with NO egg matter. I am surmising that the shell broke inside the hen while she was laying and since the membrane was undamaged, it popped out. I did notice one of my hens acting under the weather so I am guessing she is the one with the stuck shell. Seems to be better now but still kinda hanging back from the rest.Any tips on how to find out who is laying the shelless eggs? She’s laying them in the ‘good’ nesting box with everyone else.
