One hen, 2 yr old RR, came through moult and lays eggs without a shells. What is wrong and what can I do?

Sometimes hens develope problems after a molt like your describing soft shell eggs are not always a lack of calcium as many people may think, this may be due to the stress of starting egg production after the molt. It could also be a complication from a resperatory disease which can cause a secondary infection of the shell gland and inflamation in the gland itself will cause it to malfunction and not be able to produce hard shells. If the hen dosent get enough sunlight every day it could be a vitamin d3 deficency which whould make the apsorption of calcium next to impossible.or unfortunetly this could be early sighns of you hen. Becoming an internal layer if so I whould recomend a desorelin hormone patch which will stop her from laying anymore eggs a vet can put this into your hen kinda like a microchip in a dog not invasive. Just be carefull that thease soft eggs are not rupturing inside of her as she most likley will develope egg yolk peritonitis which is a very dangerous infection
