Shelter for ducks during the day in cold rainy weather

Just ducks being ducks. The phrase 'like water off a duck's back' wasn't coined accidentally.

My Muscovy can't stand heavy rain they look like lawn statues my Runner and Buffs are running all around playing. Snow is the same the Muscovy don't like it at all, their coops are all open during the day so all can go inside anytime they want but instead, they just hunker down behind any windbreak they can find. Muscovy go into the woodshed the Runners and Buffs will head inside for a while then venture back out. I just let them decide what they want to do. I do feel sorry for them when I look out and see them sleeping with their heads tucked with snow all over them.

So sorry your ducks aren't coping well Keep the fir tree in mind.. you might be able to get a post xmas potted tree cheap. If you go plant shopping later, Spring to Fall they love the lilac.

First snow and it's 25 ... there they are under the tree.

You mean like a cut tree? A neighbor of mine has a tree farm. I will ask her. Thanks! If they stay outside I'd definitely prefer they sleep next to the barn instead of down by the pond which is closer to the foxes.
