Shelton, WA laws???

Are chickens allowed in the city limits of Shelton, wa? Would love to start raising chickens but having a hard time finding this answer.

I called the city and asked. Sharing in case anyone else wants the info!

In city limits you can have up to 5 chickens - NO ROOSTERS and they have to be kept so they are not running around the neighborhood and conditions, of course, kept sanitary.

I was told the number varies by lot size. We have a massive lot and have several ducks and chickens. Code enforcement said as long as it's kept clean and quiet we are fine.
