My three young ones are all laying every day now also. They might have been laying for some time and I didn't know, as the black snake I killed for eating my chicks was suspiciously glossy, fat and healthy....and my egg production went up sharply the day after he was eliminated!

Is it unusual to get an egg a day? Our four sex links have been doing an egg a day since they started laying a couple weeks ago. Of course "Pokey" has not started laying yet!

no its not unusual it just means you have good layers. my rir goldie laid an egg a day since she started laying too
